Ellis Athletics vs Northumberland Heath
This team just know how to make their manager smile. We were welcomed to Norman’s Park by Ellis Athletic for the last friendly before the season begins and what a way to end a long pre season. From kick off we controlled the game. The first half see us score an amazing 6 goals with plenty of missed opportunities missed. The half time team talk was full of praise with one clear 2nd half objective ‘dominant possession’ The second half see us play keep ball for the majority. Keeping the ball within the midfield and making life difficult for the opposition. A set piece from Ellis lead to an own goal being awarded towards the end of the game. Overall it was an amazing performance with plenty of positives. Bring on the start of the season!
