So that’s 16 wins in 16 games (League, friendly & Cup) after today’s visit from Beckenham Junior! Most people would think Manager Danny would be happy with that 9th straight win, winning 3-0 on the day but that would be wrong.
manager Danny’s thoughts after the game; ‘We started brightly for about two minutes then the game just became messy. We played at the level of the opposition only showing very small glimpses of what we were capable of. Numerous chances were missed…. Nearly as many as bad passes were made. A penalty save from our keeper in the first half and a constructive half time chat wasn’t enough to get the players going. All in all I’m disappointed how we lowered our standards. Against better opponents you can very easily lose that game.’
