On reflection this game was overall scrappy… the first half wasn’t going our way and we entered half time behind our opposition. When we returned for the second half we made some subs and had a motivational chat from the gaffer that gave the guys the boost, the push, the motivation they needed to see through the second half. Reece scored a beauty from 30 yards and Jerome flicked in a cheeky one! Allowing us to end the game 2-1. We know we can play better than this but we made it, we won. Friendly next week, let’s hope it’s less stressful.
