We went into this one with quiet confidence, having faced Orpington a number of times before and seen consistent results.
Raph opened the scoring in style, lifting the ball over the keeper’s head. Orpington managed to pull one back to level things up, but the lads responded well. Georgie restored our lead after their keeper came out confidently, only for Master Allen’s lightning feet to make the difference. Then from a corner, Ollie H rose highest and powered his header into the back of the net.
A strong all-round performance from the boys and a much-needed win after last week’s result and puts us into the final of the ron pope cup!
