This one took us down the road to Kent United FC in Dartford — and in truth, the game went pretty much as expected.
The lads weren’t quite at their absolute best, but football isn’t always about being flashy. They went out, did what needed to be done, and crucially finished the job far better than in the previous game. They grafted, they battled, and they earned the win.
It was a rough 90 minutes to navigate. Orpington were loud on the sidelines, tensions grew with a player confronting their own manager, asking them to leave them alone to play football, But the Heath kept their heads and stayed focused.
We also saw two new faces make their first appearances — Tyson and Michaiah — both making their presence known and already looking like strong additions to the Heath setup. Great energy and impact from both.
The win puts another 3 points on the board, keeping us sitting pretty in 3rd place. With 7 matches still to play, nothing is decided yet — everything can change.
