The first half saw the boys looking a little panicky at the back, but once reassured at half-time they came out calmer, sharper, and more controlled. Overall, though, the play was great to watch—the opposition couldn’t touch us.
We went in 1-0 up at half-time and finished the game 4-0. They even had a penalty chance, but our number 1 stood tall and showed why he’s between the sticks.
Long may this form continue throughout the season. So far, we’ve yet to face a side that’s made us look out of place.
