After falling short in the quarterfinals last season in this cup, we were eager to get back into this competition — and hopefully go all the way this time!
From the very start, NHFC looked the stronger and more developed side. That’s not to say we didn’t let ourselves down in moments, but looking at the game as a whole, it was a solid, dominant performance. The scoreline speaks for itself — we ran rings around the opposition, and as full time approached, it felt like they had given up the fight. One of our players even managed to bag five goals in just 20 minutes — unbelievable! 👏 All in all, a brilliant round for the lads — on to the next one! 💪
We’ll admit, they did manage to get two goals past us (a couple of sloppy mistakes at the back), and when given the chance to counter, they gave it a good go. Credit to them for their spirit — one of their players mentioned he’d only signed the night before the game and was just there to have fun and play football. Fair play to them, and keep going, Next Level 👏
